Despite the focus many organizations place on engaging employees, studies show that more than 70% of employees are not engaged, and over 20% are actively disengaged. Research shows that engaged employees make a difference to key business outcomes, including productivity, profitability, customer service and safety. Creating an inclusive work environment is one effective strategy to enhance employee engagement.

This session will examine approaches to embed inclusion in the Talent Management strategy:
•Leadership: engage senior leaders in the overall strategy, including work with employee resource groups and talent development learning framework
•Process: Identity and address gaps in ability to attract, retain and promote diverse talent
•Engagement: Support the development of employee resource groups’ members
•Learning: Evaluate portfolio of training and development on diversity and inclusion
